Stress free movers did a fantastic job for me. The day I moved it started to pour with rain and to prevent my furniture from getting damaged they came back later in the day. Amazing. They also had all the tools and dismantled my bed for me and put it back together. My move was quite tricky and they managed it with ease. I’d definitely use them again.

After checking several removal specialist companies out I chose this one as Amy telephoned me back almost immediately to confirm my emailed details. On the day, the clean and shiny truck arrived on time with two strong gentlemen. Interestingly my neighbour was also moving out and her truck was shabby with a paint brush paint job to disguise a previous hire truck and two men were not dressed so tidy as our movers. Our men took such care with our belongings and I was very impressed with that and when we got to our new home, they unpacked the truck with the same care asking me where to put the furniture. They were extremely courteous, with good humour, Having used another company eight times in the past three years and put up with dirty fingerprints, damage to the furniture, grubby trucks and grunts from the movers, this company was a breath of fresh air. We used these guys as a referal from family, they were great, on time and nothing to difficult for them. They were friendly and always willing to do what ever you ask them. On behalf of my father and my family, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to this company and the 3 guys that helped move us yesterday and the week before. We had to do a double shift before our new home was ready and these guys took the stress away. The guys were super professional, super friendly, super fast, and super efficient. We were in absolute awe with how you can make moving huge and heavy furniture look so effortless but yet so delicate. You all took such great care of our personal belongings and that spoke volumes about your character. There was lots of MANA helping us move yesterday. That is skills. We went from 40 Addinington to 146c Great South Rd then over to GIbbs Cresent in Papakura. Thank you guys and Merry Christmas to you all xxooxx
Just to let you know that the the team of three guys that came yesterday were awesome. They called me in advance on the morning to say that they were on time after finishing another job before mine. They worked well as a team of three and were very efficient. They communicated really well and kept asking questions about items that weren’t labeled or they were not sure were I needed them. It was a long move on a very hot day but they kept going at an impressive pace even at the end when for the last load I had some extremely heavy and awkward outdoor plants to move. There was no damage to any of my items or both the houses at either end of the move. I have worked as a furniture mover myself as extra work before. I know that you can spend a little time problem solving things such as planning the way you are going to move difficult items and therefore not damage things or just use brute strength and no thought resulting in damage. House moving can be a very fluid job and you are never sure when you might finish as it was with my move not finishing till the evening.
I would not hesitate to use your guys again or recommend your services to anyone else I know moving. Please pass on this email and my thanks to Michael, Dean and Sione.

Fantastic team! They were punctual, professional and took very good care of our possessions during the move. Reasonable rates. Will definitely use them again if we have to move.
I used these guys just after Christmas 2019 and found them to be fabulous. They took less time than I would have been able to do, packed everything very well and delivered some goods to the address I was moving to, then picked up some more and delivered them to my storage unit. Unit packed so well I had room to spare for for stuff. Highly recommend.
I hired them to move my house. They said 830 stayed and they were there at 830 Saturday. They said it would take 4 hours to move a 2 bedroom house from east Auckland to the north shore. It took them 3.4 hours they put the furniture exactly where I asked they put the bed back together and even move a new fridge that was delivered in to the house after Noel leemings left it outside. Great team very fast and nothing broke or damaged just awesome
Due to the impending lockdown a couple of weeks ago I had to move out of my house quickly and allow the new people to move in before it all happened. Super stress!
But the day before I got a message from AJ and then an email saying they could come 8am next morning. And they did.I was so grateful. They got their big truck down the long awkward driveway no problem. Then
AJ and his 2 men very quickly, carefully and efficiently got all my furniture in the truck within the hour. Amazing ! I was so impressed. Well done

I used 2men and a truck, they were absolutely fabulous, I think the younger one name was “” Lott’s”” and his boss was probably middle aged or older, they were thoughtful and gave excellent service, the “” boss”” asked what size storage unit I had, I told him, he said that my stuff won’t fit that I needed either another small unit or try to get the extra large unit, but best to follow them to the storage depot and get it sorted, successfully sorted. I would definitely refer them to anyone and would use them again.

I wanted to leave a genuine message of gratitude for the remarkable job your lads did, shifting me from Sandringham to Mt Eden. As can often happen when moving, I had many outside contributing stress factors for weeks, finding a new location, letting go of the old one etc etc and one roadblock after another including finances!
I googled all the top ten movers and got a very reasonable quote back from your company. So when I got a courtesy call to advise they were 30 mins away, and had such friendly and respectful people turn up, I already felt a sense of relief and could relax. I was astounded at how quickly the truck was loaded, included several unevenly weighted pot plants, which I could see were already secured safely with various ties and blankets covering my rather cheap but very cherished furniture.
For me, having such reliability, care, professional approach was an absolute blessing. I also want to note the wonderful communication between the two. They were clear, kind and effective with each other, when navigating very heavy and unweldy items, I was very impressed.
The total was well under what I expected and I’ve actually never experienced such a lovely team before, having used much cheaper services before and essentially getting what I paid for. I would and will recommend this company to anyone seeking fantastic service and use them again in future. Thank you so much for your help. Those blokes need a raise, absolute top notch service.
We needed some heavy surplus furniture moved to our storage unit. The guys arrived on time and were extremely efficient, pleasant and friendly. The job was done quickly and to budget. The main impression we took from the experience was the friendliness and work-ethic the guys have. They are a credit to the company.
Can’t recommend this company more highly. My move in ended up being a bit more challenging due to parking/access and the guys were amazing – took great care of my furniture and were a pleasure to deal with. I’ll most definitely be using Stress Free Movers again in the future as they really are true to their name.
