If you’re planning on moving into or out of Auckland, there is generally A LOT more planning to be done than just your regular move across town, this is where we come in!

The reason being, when we ask how many bedrooms you have and you tell us that you have a 3 bedroom house, we may get there for the inspection and see that you may have 2 lounges, a garage, an office/study, outdoor furniture, a trampoline etc. (This happens often)

We want to be able to give you an accurate quotation as well as the correct truck size to ensure your move is completed in a smooth and timely manner.

With moves traveling outside regions, it’s imperative that we are able to fit everything in 1 load otherwise the quoted price will be drastically different from the end result.

Please let us know ahead of time if there are going to be any changes to the itinerary or anything else that could delay the move. Of course, we don’t mind if you have a couch or something you would like picked up on the way but communicating this to our team as soon as you are aware, is very important.

If you can afford for our packing team to assist, this would be a great addition to your move. Given that it may be a long journey, it’s best that everything is packed carefully to ensure nothing is damaged on the way to your new home.

Sometimes depending on where you are moving to, the roads can be quite rough riding so making sure that everything Is packed nice and tight, to give you peace of mind that your belongings will arrive intact and undamaged. Of course, our drivers strive to be as careful on the roads as possible but to eliminate any risk, we suggest using packing services.

If in doubt, arrange insurance for your move. Not many insurance companies cover furniture removals but would be best to check with your home and contents insurance provider to check if they might offer anything, otherwise, there are websites online that you can visit to get a quote.
